Grandfather Rafael already owned 26 hectares of vines. When he handed over the vineyard to his son Antonio, that figure had grown to 40 hectares. Antonio was one of the first in Navarra to plant the French variety, Cabernet Sauvignon. For a long time, the grapes were processed outside the vineyard. In the end, it was Antonio’s sons who were able to realise the dream of their own bodega. High-quality red wines are produced here today.

In 2001, Raúl and Jorge laid the foundation stone for a new building on a small plot with the amusing name of “Yumberri”. An impressive property has emerged amidst the vines. It curls around an open courtyard where cultural events take place in the summer.
