Flagship wines from Sicily
In 2015, he was chosen as Delinat biodiversity wine producer of the year. His vineyards on the sun-kissed island of Sicily are like natural paradises with vibrant floral splendour, fragrant islands of herbs, richly festooned olive, persimmon, almond and orange trees, butterflies and bees flitting about everywhere and lizards sunning themselves on piles of stones. This natural richness and Massimo’s delight in biodiverse vineyards can be detected in each of his wines.
Nero d'Avola – Siclian diva
The red grape diva of Sicily is the Nero d'Avola. It is cosmopolitan and feels flattered when ensnared by international stars such as Syrah and Merlot. Hardly anyone knows that better than Massimo Maggio. The best example s the fruitily tangy Bonarossa, one of the most popular Delinat wines from Italy.
